Monitoring Fine Dust Concentration
| No great efforts are required from users to comply with the limiting dust levels when handling and working with our products. The effective risk level can be easily assessed via three basic rules:
Grain size distribution curves do not allow to predict the fine dust concentration in the air.
Tests of the dusting tendency of bulk goods according to DIN 33897 Part 2 "Continuous fall under counter flow conditions" and EN 15051 Method B "Continuous drop" offer indications about how much dust the products may potentially develop (see www.igf-bgrci.de). Some typical results for our products are as follows:
E-formation of dust
A realistic assessment of the exposure is only possible through determining the fine dust content at the workplace (in mg/m³). If you are interested, please call on us, we will be happy to assist (Roland Müller) . |
