puriss Grades
The puriss grades of Neuburg Siliceous Earth are even more fine than classic Sillitin. The grit portion (sieve residue) of these products - which is already very low - is further reduced in comparison with standard Sillitin. This reduces the abrasivity of this product range, thus protecting processing equipment, such as mixers, tools and nozzles for airless spraying. Dispersal behavior in low-viscosity systems is also considerably improved.
These effects are achieved through a final process after actual production. Puriss grades are therefor ideal for extremly thin-walled articles (membranes), printing rolls, printing matrixes, offset printing blankets and low durometer automobile extrusions with Class A surface quality.
