puriss Grades
The puriss grades of Neuburg Siliceous Earth are even more fine than classic Sillitin. The grit portion (sieve residue) of these products - which is already very low - is further reduced in comparison with standard Sillitin. This reduces the abrasivity of this product range, thus protecting processing equipment, such as mixers, tools and nozzles for airless spraying.
These effects are achieved through a final process after actual production. Puriss grades are therefore ideal for all nonaqueous formulas thanks to the excellent dispersions behavior, for solvent-free, resin-bonded systems like polyester, epoxy and polyurethane, for thin layers and improve the mechanical properties primarily for adhesives and sealants.
