The corporate group is constantly growing and investing in the updating of its plant and buildings. For example, warehouses for hazardous substances, raw materials and packaging have been built at HOFFMANN MINERAL over the last few years as well as plant for the continuous surface modification of raw materials - the biggest lever for implementing large production campaigns. A major contribution to CO2 savings is made by a highly efficient combined heat and power plant for generating electricity and use of the waste heat for drying the siliceous earth. In 2019, a new plant for processing powdered raw materials will be commissioned, which will ensure secure production of surface-treated products for the next few years and offer plenty of opportunities for batch processing of new and innovative contract products. Manfred Hoffmann is still the Chairman of the Management Board, which manages the Group along with an Advisory Board.
