Peroxide
Calcined product, methacrylic functionalized.
Aktifit Q is suitable for very light and white compounds. The product offers good compression set up to 25 phr.
It is used as combination partner with ATH up to 30 % of the ATH part while retaining the flame-retardant properties.
By using 2,5-Bis-(tert.butylperoxy)-2,5-dimethyl-haxane (DBPH) up to 50 phr the increase in tear resistance without significant change of compression set up to 25 phr;
by using Bis-2,4-(dichlorbenzoyl)-peroxide up to 75 phr an by using dicumyl peroxide up to 50 phr (at high concentration improvement of the tear resistance).

- partial replacement of ATH with Aktisil Q, Aktifit Q or Silfit Z 91 provides practically the same flame-retardant properties of pure ATH
